When planning your training program for the 2025 racing season, consider implementing the 4-Week Periodization Block. This approach involves increasing running time over a span of 3 weeks, followed by a 4th week dedicated to recovery. During this recovery week, running volume is reduced by 30-50%, allowing your body to rest and prepare for the upcoming training phase. I've applied this model with all my runners and achieved excellent results.
